Regenerate a video with changes
How Edit works in Nilaki: a new job from the same avatar and brief, plus your change. The previous version stays.
When a clip is almost right, do not overwrite it.
Steps
- Open the finished job in Content Studio or the dashboard gallery.
- Click Edit.
- Type a concrete change: office background, black hoodie, warmer light.
- Confirm Regenerate with changes. Credits hold like any other generation.
- Cancel if you change your mind before it finishes. The first version is untouched.
Identity
The new job still uses the original avatar still and the shared Kling prompt builder. Hands stay empty unless your dialogue asks the person to hold something.
FAQ
Is this video-to-video restyle?
No. Kling’s omni edit path is not wired into this Studio pipeline. Edit starts a new generation from the original avatar photo and prompt plus your change.
Do I lose the first cut?
No. The new job is linked to the parent. Recent jobs keeps both.
